About ABC Centreville
We are a cycling club with members from around the Manchester and South Pennines area and beyond. We have various rides for different levels during the week and at the weekend. For more infromation Contact us and we’ll point you in the right direction.
Club rides
Saturdays
- Saturday ride: 10am start, Littleborough Square outside the Wheatsheaf (see map in sidebar) leaders Dave Grogan, Nick Holmes and Rick Clough 40 – 60km brisk hilly training ride with café stop, aim to be back in Littleborough by 2pm. Arranged via a Whatsapp group. We can accommodate new & returning riders but Please get in touch before turning up the first time, and ask to be added to the Saturday WhatsApp group
Sundays:
- Sunday social ride: 9:00 from Littleborough Square outside the Wheatsheaf. 50-100km hilly ride at social (B) pace Organised by a WhatsApp group. Please get in touch before turning up the first time, and ask to be added to the Sunday social WhatsApp group
Wednesday mornings:
- 10am from Littleborough Square outside the Wheatsheaf. 30-40km hilly with café. Brisk tempo ride. Map in sidebar. Leaders Dave Grogan and Rick Clough, organised via Whatsapp group

Tuesday & Thursday evenings March to September:
- Evening rides Meet up point 18:00 The Friendship pub, Prestwich, route dependent jumping on points, John Gilbert Worsley, The Cemetery Hotel Rochdale, Huddersfield Road Junction Newhey, Tuesday Chilled, Thursday brisk.
