Rule 11 states Family does not come first. The bike does. The reality is that people do have other commitments whether that’s family, careers or caring.
With this in mind Paul Basson, Ebow, Dino and I have been discussing some two or three hour Saturday or Sunday rides for those with other Commitments.
The rides are open to all and will start at 09:00 from the John Gilbert Worsley
Nick, as you know that is my issue due to Susan my wife with her close on 25 yrs of Parkinson’s therefore my real max time away is two hours. hence despite wanting to. no club runs etc.
( Though even after 10 years of diagnosis she still managed to amble up Petite St Bernard (2188 mtr) , the Col de la Madeline (1933 mtr 26km climb) and 1st 3rd of the Petite St Bernard nearly every day for 14 days up to our chalet )
I will keep a watch to the development of this and the proposed runs and times.
Great to see this development hopefully I can get involved somehow
