I have had a couple of queries regarding reliability rides. Traditionally the club runs 3 rides:
16 January 2022 Widdop 47.5 Mi
23 January 2022 Gisburn 74 Mi
I love these tough winter rides as they represent a real adventure at a very dead time of year.
British Cycling defines a reliability as “… long distance rides which emphasise fitness, self reliance and navigational skills.”
In spite of very cold weather in 2020 we had 30 riders “Jumping On”
If there are a large number of riders you may find the group splits quickly, so it’s a good idea to form a few alliances and familiarise yourself with the route before heading out.
