I received 5 more items from Champion System showing the range of items available to buy and they really are very impressive. Though the samples show the fit cut and quality of material, they don’t show the final appearance of the kit because they are sent out in random colours as sample items only. Therefore, you need to use a bit of imagination to visualise the kit in the blue, green and white that we know and love.
I tried them all on and have taken a few pics to give you an idea of fit. All clothing is in size Medium. No differentiation between the Tech, Performance and Apex in terms of size so I’d say stick with what you usually go for. The only item that was more figure-hugging was the Performance Jersey (Women’s) even though it was in Club Cut, often Race Cut is more of a tighter slimmer fit.
The Performance Wind Vest was particularly comfortable, and an item I’d look into buying myself – much like a gilet to see you through from Spring into Summer and when you’re not sure what the weather will bring! This was in fact ‘Race Cut’ but didn’t feel too tight or restrictive.
