I have really enjoyed organising the Club Kit, it has been great handing out the kit and getting to know the members better.
The Jersey means so much in cycling and it’s been especially good to hand out jerseys in recognition of club members’ contribution to the sport.
This week I was pleased to give Ken Whitehead his club kit displaying the former UCI World Masters Champion stripes in the Team Pursuit. I was also pleased to ask Laura to give Dave Grogan a jersey in recognition of his contribution to the club over the years, both as club treasurer for many years, and also being the foundation, come rain or shine, of the Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday ‘A’ rides all of which are going from strength to strength.
